10 Days Galloping Safaris

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to a premium Arusha lodge. Over a leisurely dinner your guide provides a full safari briefing — live wildebeest migration tracking updates, weather patterns, and what to expect at each location.

Full day in Tarangire. Trek the elephant corridors, photograph massive tusker bulls, and witness the famous baobab "upside-down trees" at sunset. Evening at a luxury tented camp overlooking the river.

Morning in the ancient mahogany forest of Lake Manyara, tracking tree-climbing lions in the acacias. Flamingo photography on the alkaline lake shore. Afternoon ascent to the Ngorongoro rim — dinner at elevation with crater views.

A full 8-hour descent into the world's largest intact caldera. Black rhino tracking, lion pride observations, and hippo pod photography. Watch the famous "large tuskers" cross the crater floor. Return to the rim for a sundowner dinner overlooking the caldera.

Drive via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area into the Serengeti. En route, scan for cheetahs on the short-grass kopjes. Afternoon game drive in the Seronera Valley — the best year-round wildlife area in the Serengeti, with permanent water guaranteeing predator sightings.

Full day in the Seronera. Track the resident lion prides at Simba Kopjes, photograph cheetahs sprinting across open plains, and find leopard lounging on sausage tree branches. Optional sunrise balloon safari departs at 6:00 am with a champagne bush breakfast landing.

Drive north to the Kogatende sector — gateway to the famous Mara River crossing points. Game drive en route through the Lobo Valley where lion coalitions control huge territories. Arrive at the river as dusk falls over the Mara triangle.

Full day positioned at the Mara River banks. Your guide uses live radio networks to track migration movements. When crossings occur, witness hundreds of thousands of wildebeest leap into crocodile-infested waters in one of nature's most dramatic scenes. Multiple crossings can happen in a single day.

A final morning drive before a leisurely lunch under an acacia tree. In the afternoon, review your best wildlife photographs with your guide who can identify every species. Farewell bush dinner around a campfire under the Milky Way.
