Established in 2021 in Arusha, Tanzania, True Holidays Safaris was born from a shared family vision: to create an independent, boutique safari company that delivers deeply intimate, tailor-made wilderness journeys while creating meaningful, lasting opportunities for rural Tanzanian communities.
Having spent over a decade navigating the untamed corners of the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Great Rift Valley, our founders recognized that the magic of an African safari is lost in mass-tourism convoys and rigid schedules. We set out to build something different—a company where every journey is 100% private, unhurried, and crafted around the traveler’s personal rhythm.
