Day-by-Day Schedule
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Your guide warmly welcomes you and transfers you to your boutique lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxed evening orientation and welcome dinner, reviewing the safari route and wildlife highlights.
Depart Arusha after breakfast for Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive elephant herds and colossal baobab trees. Afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River tracking lions, zebras, giraffes, and over 500 avian species. Sundowner drinks overlooking the river valley.
Drive to Lake Manyara nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Explore dense groundwater forests where baboons tumble through mahogany trees, scan acacia branches for famous tree-climbing lions, and watch pink flamingo carpets on the lake shore.
Descend 600m to the crater floor — the world's largest unbroken caldera sheltering over 30,000 animals. Track the rare black rhino, observe active lion prides, zebras grazing across the caldera floor, and giant tusker elephants. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the scenic hippo pool.
